<br />8, The inundation and scour damages which could be expected to
<br />occur from future floods in the Fountain Creek flood plain at Pueblo
<br />were estimated On an average annual basis by analyring thedisch arge-
<br />damaRe-frequency relationship, as shown on Plates 6 and 7, Attachment
<br />V. Average annual damages under the existing state of development
<br />were thus computed to be ~493,590. With-an allowance for future
<br />growth, prospective or future average annual damages would amount to
<br />$835,440, as itemized in Table 4. Since floodflows from Fountain
<br />Creek also increase the inundation and scour damages along the main
<br />stem of the Arkansas River from Pueblo to Las Animas, the average
<br />annual damages in Reaches 2 to 7 as shown in Table li of the main
<br />report, have been indexed to January 1969 prices for existing develop.
<br />ment and future growth, and summarized in Table 4.
