NOTES ON SHEETS 2 AND 3

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

The 100-year flood plain of the existing drainageway is contained in

the channel and does not overtop South Prince Street, South Santa Fe Drive,

or the railroad embankments.

Proposed flood control improvements are limited to channelization and

erosion protection immediately east of the railroad embankment. This will

protect the playing fields south of the channel.

A maintenance access trail is proposed throughout the length of Lee

Gulch from the Platte River to Dry Creek Road. This trail could also be

utilized as a recreational hike/bike trail.

The residual 100-year flood plain is to be regulated after the improve-

ments are made.
