The maximum decrease in f100dway width, <br />525 feet, occurred approximately 500 feet upstream of the confluence with Cherry Creek. <br /> <br />The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copies of FIRM Panel 08005C0095 G, Profile <br />Panel151P, and the Floodway Data Table for Piney Creek. A copy of this notification is enclosed. Any request for reconsideration must be based on scientific <br />or technical data. In addition, a notice of changes will be published in the Federal Register. <br /> <br />Because this LOMR will not be printed and distributed to primary users, such as local insurance agents <br />and mongage lenders, your community will serve as a repository for these new data. We encourage you <br />to disseminate the information reflected by this LOMR throughout the community, so that interested <br />persons, such as property owners, local insurance agents, and mongage lenders, may benefit from the <br />information. We also encourage you to prepare a related anicle for publication in your community's local <br />newspaper. This ar;ivlc should describe the assistance that officials of your community will give to <br />interested persons by providing these data and interpreting the NFlP maps. <br /> <br />The revisions aTe effective as of the date of this letter; however, within 90 days of the second publication <br />in the Villager, a citizen may request that FEMA reconsider the determination made by this LOMR. Any <br />request for reconsideration must be based on scientific or technical data. All interested panies are on <br />notice that, until the 90-day period elapses, the determination to modify the BFEs presented in this LOMR <br />may itself be modified. <br /> <br />We are processing a revised FIRM and FlS repon for your community, which will become effective on <br />August 16, 1995. Because the effective date has already been established, we will not incorporate the <br />modifications described in this LOMR into the revised FIRM and FlS report before they become effective. <br />Therefore, the modifications described in this LOMR will be superseded when the revised FIRM and FlS <br />repon become effective, Upon receipt of a written request from your community, we will reissue this <br />LOMR as a revision to the newly effective FIRM and FlS repon. <br />
