But the project can sized down and still have a significant impact on <br />reducing the flooding in the project area. <br />Attached are two copies of a revised application. A5 stated in the letter from Andrew <br />Garton of ('1JOT (see tab 7) the improvements will reduce the water deep in the area <br />between eastbound and westbound US 50, by at least 8 inches during a 5 year storm <br />event. <br /> <br />The area being impacted by this project is area one in the original application which has <br />properties value at over $3,738,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Garton in his letter outlines the project and the estimated costs, so the project budget <br />would stay the same. <br />COOT Engineering $ 66,000 <br />FEMA Construction 198.000 <br />Total $264,000 <br />We realize that any construction costs over the $198,000 that may occur will have to be <br />funded locally. <br /> <br />If you have any question please contact me. <br /> <br />~~CerelY,y /J.,j7/ <br />. ~ Schulz 3 <br />
