9.0 REVISIONS DESCRIPTION

This section has been added to provide information regarding significant
revisions made since the original Flood Insurance Study was printed.
Future revisions may be made that do not result in the republishing of
the Flood Insurance Study report. To ensure that any user is aware of
all revisions, it is advisable to contact the community repository of
flood hazard data located at the Utilities Administrative Office, 1739
Broadway, Suite 306, Boulder, Colorado 80302.

9.1 First Revision

This study was revised on May 3, 1990, to show modifications to
the approximate Zone A flooding along Gregory Creek, from its
confluence with Boulder Creek, to approximately 1.4 miles
upstream. The floodplain delineation was modified to reflect the
delineation presented in the Flood Hazard Area Delineation report,
entitled "Boulder and Adjacent County Drainageways," dated May
1987, and prepared by Greenhorne and O'Hara, Inc., for the UDFCD.

o The LOMR issued on March 2, 1989, for an area along Boulder
Creek between Foothi lls Parkway and 30th Street, is shown on
Flood Insurance Rate Map Panels 0120 and 0185. This LOMR was
based on better topographic data for Boulder Creek in the
vicinity of the University of Colorado at Boulder Research Park
(UCBRP), The basis for this LOMR was the following submitted
data: a report entitled "Request for Letter of Map Revision -
Boulder Creek, for the University of Colorado at Boulder
Research Park," dated January 1989, and prepared by Love &
Associates, Inc.; and Sheets 1 through 3 of 3 of drawings
entitled "Letter of Map Revision for the UCBRP Drainage,
Grading and Wetlands Improvements," also prepared by Love &
Associates, Inc. As a result of the above referenced data,
Profile Panels 38P to 41P have been revised, and Profile Panel
358P was added for the Boulder Creek Right Bank Overflow.

o The LOMR issued on March 2, 1989, for an area of Skunk Creek
between Foothills Parkway and Colorado Avenue, is shown on
Flood Insurance Rate Map Panel 0185. This LOMR was based on
channel modifications for Skunk Creek in the vicini ty of the
UCBRP. The basis for this LOMR was the following submitted
data: a report entitled "Request for Letter of Map Revision -
Skunk Creek, for the University of Colorado at Boulder Research
Park," dated January 1989, and prepared by Love & Associates,
Inc.; and Sheets 1 through 3 of 3 of drawings entitled "Letter
of Map Revision for Skunk Creek Channel Improvements," dated
January 13, 1989, also prepared by Love & Associates, Inc. As
a result of the above referenced data, the Floodway Data Table
for Skunk Creek has been revised, and Profile Panel 262P was
added because the new stream alignment increased the length of
Skunk Creek by 710 feet.
