We have selected these specific projects to convey the following
points:

. The Colorado Water Development Study demonstrates:

(I) our ability to conduct a statewide survey and needs assessment in Colorado;
(2) our familiarity with geographic conditions, hydrologic conditions, and water
resources agencies throughout the state;
(3) our ability to coordinate with the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

. The Provo River Restoration and Multi-Objective Corridor Project demonstrates:

(I) our understanting of floodplain management issues in the context of multi-
objective river corridor uses;
(2) our understanding of the relationships between river rehabilitation, geomor-
phology, hydrology, habitat enhancement, recreation, and floodplain manage-
ment;
(3) our ability to form, manage, and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

. The West Tollgate Creek Channel Stabilization Project represents a broad range of
channel stabilization and floodplain management projects completed in Colorado and
throughout the western United States, and demonstrates:

(I) our understanding of conditions and processes that lead to problems with the
State's channels and floodplains;
(2) our ability to integrate channel stabilization and floodplain management needs
with natural and cultural resources as well as with recreational uses;
(3) our understanding of the concerns of local entities regarding river and flood-
plain management

Each of these projects was completed by one or more of the proposed key personnel listed in
Item V of this Statement of Qualifications.

In accordance with the Request for Qualifications we have limited our submittal to three
project descriptions. Additional important factors which the Colorado Water Conservation
Board should consider when evaluating our qualifications include:

4

MONTGOMERY WMSON <<D>
