<br />Thc project sponsors provided information for the study, which included 2-foot contour mapping of
<br />Adams County and Commerce City. The basis of control for this mapping is as follows:

<br />GIS infonnation was also provided including roads, streams, topography, existing land use, and
<br />proposed land use. The RMA provided 2-foot contour mapping of their site with a horizontal datum
<br />ofNAD 27 and a vcrtical datum ofNGVD 29. In addition, USGS 1 :24,000 quadrangle maps were
<br />obtained for the First Creek watershed. Landiscor aerial photography was also obtained.

<br />PREVIOUS STUDIES
<br />
<br />Several studies have becn conductcd for the First Creek watershed. The hydrology contained in this
<br />study will supcrsedc that for the First Creek watershed contained in the previous reports listed as I,
<br />2, 3 and 4, below. The drainage improvcments presented will supersede those for the lower First
<br />Creek watershed that were presented in the previous report listed as 3, below.
