As you will recall the Flood Hazard Area Delineation Study for the <br />Big Dry Creek and its tributaries, which was adopted by UDFCD in 1986, was based <br />on the assurrption that the Great Western Reservoir would remain in existe~e. At <br />the request of the Board of Directors of the UDFCD as well as the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board, the City of Westminster has executed an agreement with both <br />Broanfield and Urban Drainage in order to assure all entities concerned that <br />Great Western Reservoir will remain in existence. <br /> <br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board had mad: the ellecution of this <br />agreement a contingency as well as the execution of an agreeJrent concerniIB <br />continued exista'lce of Starrlley Lake in the approval of their January 23, 1987, <br />Resolutioo adopting the Flood Hazard Area Delineation Maps for the Big Dry Creek, <br />et al. The City of Westminster and Urban Drainage have executed the Starrliey- <br />Lake Agreement and a copy of that was forwarded to you on May 5, 1987. wi th the <br />receipt of the Great Western Reservoir Agreement I believe that all of the con- <br />tingencies outlined by the Colorado Water Conservation Board will have been Jret. <br /> <br />I would appreciate it if you would bring this to the attention of Mr. <br />MacDonald 50 that he may take whatever steps are necessary to formally and final- <br />ly complete the process of adopting the aforementioned resolution. I would also <br />appreciate if you could let me knCM as 5000 as the resolution is formalized arrl <br />provide a copy of the final document for our files.
