.

-

.

MEMORANDUM

COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD
DARIES C. LILE
DIRECTOR

DATE:

December 23, 1996

TO:

John Henz - Henz Meteorological Services (HMS)

Tom Browning - Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB);:?!J-

Rainfall Re-constitution for Buffalo Creek Storm Events

FROM:

RE:

On behalf of Jefferson County, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, the
Colorado Geological Survey, and the Denver Water Board, please accept this memo as an
official notice to proceed on the above referenced project. The work tasks for the project
are outlined in a letter transmitted from HMS to Larry Lang, dated December 10, 1996.
A separate document entitled "Buffalo Creek, Colorado, Meteorological Services, Plan of
Work" was prepared by the CWCB and was signed by all of the project funding
participants. The Plan of Work was faxed to your office last week. Both documents, the
letter proposal and the Plan of Work, are to be considered as an integrated scope of work
for the project.

I have attached the finalized funding contribution amounts (Table 1) for each of the
participating agencies, and I have attached the fully signed signature page. You will be
receiving Purchase Orders from the CWCB and the other agencies in the near future.
Each of the agencies should be invoiced separately for their respective funding amounts.
Please be advised that some of the agencies (i.e. Jefferson County) will have to be
invoiced this month so that they can use their earmarked 1996 dollars for the project.

Please acknowledge acceptance of this notice to proceed by faxing Tom Browning at the
Colorado Water Conservation Board (fax # is 866-4474). If you have any questions,
please give me a call. Thank you.
