This new report includes portions of the draft "Flood Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan" that was previously given to you by Larry. Among other topics, I have <br />incorporated the "Emergency Disaster Plan" that was prepared by Grant Macdonald of <br />the Jeffco Sheriff's Department. I changed the name of Grant's plan to "Emergency <br />Response Plan," made some editorial changes to his text, and reprinted the plan in the <br />new document. <br /> <br />Please find enclosed a copy of the new document entitled "Emergency Response, <br />Flood Hazard Mitigation, and Flood Hazard Awareness for Residents of Buffalo Creek, <br />Colorado." I would appreciate your review of the document and any comments that you <br />may have. In addition, I would appreciate being advised if there are any new changes <br />that have been made to Grant's emergency plan so that I may incorporate those <br />changes into my document as well. <br /> <br />A separate flood hazard mitigation document will be completed by us at a later time for <br />the County's use.
