Vicinity Map <br /> <br />The development consists of two lakes to be used for tournament water skiing which are being <br />created using gravel mining techniques. Figure 2 shows the excavation plan and the regulatory <br />flood way for Laku Landing as delineated in the past two FEMA flood insurance studies, and as <br />adopted by Weld County. <br /> <br />The initial floodway, which was adopted by Weld County in 1990, was limited to the portion of <br />the Cache La Poudre River Southeast of Laku Landing. The more recent flood way, which has a <br />
