Proposed Conditions Due to Modified Roughness and Spectator Area

The fill material used to construct the spectator area will be compacted as it is placed for
maximum stability. BecauI;e of the abundance of Nunn Clay Loam and gravelly substratum, lthe
spectator area will be resisl;ant to the hydrodynamic forces of flooding, while capable of good root
penetration from the grass to be grown on it.

The type of grass to be planted on the spectator area has been chosen based on the recommen-

.

Soil Survey of Weld County, Colorado, Southern Part performed and compiled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conser-

vation Service in cooperation with the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station.
