Noticed that debris just kept coming on Skyrocket Creek <br />. Worst flooding was in the north part of the city <br />. Storm event was over the north portion of the canyon <br />. Portland Creek flooding was worse in 1982 & 1983 <br />. Thought the new flumes would work <br /> <br />Quotes: <br />. "Where would the water come from to flood the entire town? The areas are so small!" <br />. "Floods come very fast." <br />. "Boulders on Main were bigger than a horse." <br />. "We never had water in our house." Located between Cascade Creek and Skyrocket Creek, <br />near the pool. <br /> <br />Summary <br />1) Debris was on the front end of the floodwaters. <br /> <br />2) Floodwaters moved very fast. <br /> <br />3) There is horizontal movement of floodwaters at Main Street. Cascade Creek floodwater goes <br />north down the highway toward the swimming pool. <br /> <br />4) Supported Verena's flood outline. <br />
