"Our residents are partners in the fight against <br />wildfire, and the hotline anus them with facts they need to have." <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />By dialing (303) 271-8200, residents can access information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The <br />hotline offers details about: <br /> <br />. Fire restrictions <br /> <br />. Collection sites where residents can drop off tree limbs and other slash <br /> <br />. Fireworks regulations <br /> <br />. Prescribed burns <br /> <br />. Campground contact numbers <br /> <br />. Community meetings about wildfire mitigation <br /> <br />Through the hotline, residents can also schedule group meetings with the county wildfire mitigation <br />specialist, or have a list of slash collection sites faxed directly to their homes. <br /> <br />Jefferson County developed the hotline in cooperation with the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office, <br />U.S. Forest Service, Jefferson County Open Space Department, Colorado State Forest Service and <br />local fire protection districts. <br /> <br />e Residents can obtain additional wildfire safety tips by visiting the Jefferson County Web site at <br />http://co.jefferson.co.us.
