<br />~ <br />, <br /> <br />FOREWORD <br /> <br />This is the fifth in a special series of comprehensive programs, each of <br />which is intended to be a major computational aid for solving problems <br />associated with a particular area of hydrologic engineering. The programs <br />currently in this series are: <br /> <br />HEC-l, Flood Hydrograph Package <br />HEC-2, Hater Surface Profiles <br />HEC-3, ~eservoir System ^nalysis (for Conservation) <br />HEC-4, f40nthly Streamflow Simulation <br />HEC-5, Simulation of Flood Control and Conservation Systems <br />HEC-6, Scour and Deposition in Rivers and Reservoirs <br /> <br />Up-to-date information and copies of source statement cards for the <br />programs are available from the Center. While the Government is not <br />responsible for the results obtained when using the programs, assistance <br />in resolving malfunctions in the programs will be furnished to the extent <br />that time and funds are available. ~It is desired that users notify the <br />Center of inadequacies in, or desirable modifications to, the program. <br />
