<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 94-373 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER cONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />September 14, 1994 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town of <br />Georgetown, Colorado" dated March 1978 has been prepared by Black and Veatch Consulting <br />Engineers, Inc. under contract to the Federal InsurllI1ce Administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report contains detailed floodplain information for Clear Creek and South Clear <br />Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report: entitled "Flood Hazard Identification Report, Clear <br />Creek and South Clear Creek, Georgetown, Colomdo" dated February 1987 has been prepared by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report contains detailed floodplain information for Clear Creek and South Clear <br />Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Town of Georgetown, <br />by Resolution No. 278, adopted on May 15, 1987, designated and approved the floodplains described <br />in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town of <br />Georgetown, Colorado" dated June 5, 1989 has been prepared by the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes detailed floodplain information for those portions of Clear <br />Creek and South Clear Creek within the corporate limits of the Town of Georgetown, as they were in <br />March 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain information in the report dated June 5, 1989 is consistent <br />with the detailed floodplain information contained if! the report previously designated by Resolution No. <br />278; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain information in the report dated June 5, 1989 is not consistent <br />with the detailed floodplain information contained in the undesignated report dated March 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Georgetown, Colorado, has requested the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the report dated June 5, 1989; and <br /> <br />- <br />
