The modifications made by this LOMR are based on data used to prepare the effective FIRM and FIS report, We are reviewing a detailed analysis for Bullhead Gulch and Prince and Indian Peaks Tributaries that was prepared by Taggert Engineering Associates, IDc, When we issue preliminary copies of the revised FIRM and FIS report to reflect the results of the new analysis, we will also provide a revised copy of the previously cited FIRM panel for review by your community. The revised FIRM panel will reflect the results of this LOMR. The floodway is provided to your community as a tool to regulate floodplain development. Therefore, the floodway modifications described in this LOMR, while acceptable to FEMA, must also be acceptable to your community and adopted by appropriate community action, as specified in Paragraph 60, 3( d) of the NFIP regulations.
