<br />b. Cherry Creek ~roject. Cherry Creek Dam is located on <br />Cherry Creek about 11. miles upstream from its mouth. Cherry <br />Creek Reservoir has a conservation pool of 13,960 acre-feet, a <br />flood pool of 79,960 acre-feet, and surcharge storage of 134,470 <br />acre-feet. Below the emergency spillway crest, all release of <br />water is made through a gated outlet works. The outlet works <br />has a capacity of 8,100 cubic feet per second at the top of <br />the flood pool. The spillway has an ungated earth channel about <br />12,000 feet long which will discharge into the adjacent Sand and <br />Toll Gate Creeks drainage areas. A Dam Tender is located at <br />the project. <br /> <br />c. Reservoir storap;e. Tabll; 20 lists the first-of-month <br />reservoir storage levels from FebI>uary through August 1973 at <br />reservoirs located on or just offatream from the South Platte <br />River.
