<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Thirty person days were involved with the police and fire <br />departments, city crews all involved for at least 2 days. <br />Remodel ing costs for wall, drywall and carpet <br />All the grass (about 4000 s.f.) was covered with mud and <br />rocks as well as 150 feet of driveway <br />Sod replacement <br />Rebui lt driveway <br />Construct a tie crib 4 feet high, 4 feet wide, 200 feet long <br />filled with rocks and dirt $7,000.00 <br />Lost wages $ 430.00 <br />Mark Schuman, 817 Red Mountain Drive, had mud deposited on the upper bench <br />to the west of his house. The garden area was ruined and a small iITlount of <br />gravel was washed from the edge of the driveway. He has not repaired the <br />damage. <br />In August, 1984, Timothy & Lynette Danner, 2111 Bennett, once again had mud <br />flowing into the driveway, north side of the yard and into the back yard at <br />their home. Clean-up was two days, spent shoveling mud from the driveway. <br />Firewood was again covered, excess lumber stored on the side of the house was <br />destroyed. Mud covered a strip in the back yard and the north side of the front <br />yard. Neighbors helped divert the flow and kept it going down the road. The <br />street tilts and funnels mud and dirt into the driveway. <br />Flood Insurance costs $ 206.00 <br />Public Works lost 6 culverts during 1984 run-off, had numerous road <br />repairs, had to put in 2 new bridges in the Midland Avenue area, had to repair <br />the sprinkler system in Kiwanis Park and traffic had to be diverted while <br />repairs were being made. Water lines were lowered' where damage had occurred. <br />Overtime, pclice time, fire department labor were all involved. Because there <br /> <br />$ 410.00 <br /> <br />$1,100.00 <br />$ 700.00 <br />
