had to be replaced. Walls were covered with mud and dirt. Garden tools and
some home tools were lost. Building supplies such as paneling were lost. The
grass and garden spot were covered with mud and large stones and the driveway
was covered with mud and had to be re-graveled with one truck of gravel. Thirty
people worked for 3 1/2 hours in clean-up. A flow water ditch had to be dug out
on the south side of the dwelling with a small bulldozer.
Doug and Kitty Clemenson, 1904 Midland Avenue, had the driveway filled with mud
and the irrigation ditch also.

On 33rd Street, Evelyn Burgin again had water in her basement, with similar
dmages to the flood in 1977.
Beulah Letty, 2314 Bennett, was in the path of one of the main debris flows
in 1981. Her patio and yard were covered, her rock wall which had petrified
wood tile on it was totally destroyed. Few of the tiles were ever found, Her
documented costs were:
