Walls were covered with mud and dirt. Garden tools and <br />some home tools were lost. Building supplies such as paneling were lost. The <br />grass and garden spot were covered with mud and large stones and the driveway <br />was covered with mud and had to be re-graveled with one truck of gravel. Thirty <br />people worked for 3 1/2 hours in clean-up. A flow water ditch had to be dug out <br />on the south side of the dwelling with a small bulldozer. <br />Doug and Kitty Clemenson, 1904 Midland Avenue, had the driveway filled with mud <br />and the irrigation ditch also. <br />Clean-up costs were <br />for excavating and backhoe work, and miscellaneous costs <br />with 3 days time used. Wages lost were <br />The concrete driveway was lost, replacement <br />Electrical suppl ies on hand were buried, as well as a Jeep, <br />and some under damage caused to a car. <br />Costs, towing, repairs $1,175.00 <br />On 33rd Street, Evelyn Burgin again had water in her basement, with similar <br />dmages to the flood in 1977. <br />Beulah Letty, 2314 Bennett, was in the path of one of the main debris flows <br />in 1981. Her patio and yard were covered, her rock wall which had petrified <br />wood tile on it was totally destroyed.
