General Introduction <br /> <br />A, Firm History <br /> <br />By way of introduction, ICON traces their roots to the f(mner Colorado office of Greenhorne & <br />O'Mara, lnc, (G&O), Founded in 1981 this office was established to serve as a water resource <br />specialty branch for the nationally based G&O, The fmn quickly gained a loyal following of <br />clients charged with management of drainage and flood controL In 1985, Penn Gildersleeve <br />joined the firm and the office established a national reputation for innovation in the planning, <br />design and construction management of Water Resource projects with particular emphasis on <br />riverine studies and public sector flood control improvements, In January of 1997, Mr. <br />Gildersleeve and two other senior m,magers from the office, Doug Williams and Matthew <br />Ursetta, founded ICON Engineering, lnc, by purchasing the branch office from G&O, Over the <br />past three years, the firm has grown and prospered, all the time maintaining our goals of hands- <br />on involvement of the firm principals, paying attention to what our clients say, and producing <br />work product that is on time and in budget. <br /> <br /> <br />B.
