The results of this study indicate that the floodplain sho~n in the 1986 FHAD <br /> <br /> <br />study has a greater areal extent than would actually occur if the 10o-year event <br /> <br /> <br />were to occur. Therefore, the 1986 FHAD study should be amended to reflect <br /> <br /> <br />the results of this current study. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The 1987 master plan should be amended to identify the f100dway area used in <br /> <br /> <br />the flood routing. The floodway shall remain free from any future construction <br /> <br /> <br />and the volume of the floodway shall be preserved for flood storage. <br /> <br />3. The reviewing authorities to be involved in this process include the city of <br /> <br />Westminster and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. <br /> <br />We acknowledge that the City of Westminster's review of this stUdy is only for <br />general conformance with submittal requirements, current design criteria and <br />standard engineering prinCiples and standards.
