11. SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS - Social Security Administration (SSA):

-- Assistance to annuitants in address changes and expedited
check delivery.

-- Assistance tn applying for disability, death and survivor benefits
and SSI payments.

12. VETERAN'S BENEFITS - Veterans Administration (VA):

-- Assistance in applying for VA death benefits, pensions, insurance
settlements and adjustments to VA insured home mortgages.

-- VA representatives will also record address changes if necessary.

13. LEGAL SERVICES - Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the American Bar
Association:

__ Free legal counseling to low-income persons for disaster related
problems; may include replacing legal documents, transferring
titles, contracting problems, will probates, insurance problems,
etc.

__ Fee-gathering cases such as civil lawsuits for damages where
legal fees are based on court or out-of-court settlements, are
not eligible.

-- Non-YLD attorneys may also be available.

14. INSURANCE ASSISTANCE:

__ Counseling on insurance problems and questio~; may include
obtaining copies of lost policies, c1lims filing, expediting
settlements, etc.

__ Info~tion and assistance provided by the State Insurance
Commissioner, the American Insurance Association (AlA), the
Federal Emergency Kanagement Agency; National Flood Insurance
Program.
