This meeting was
attended by representatives of FIA; Douglas County Planning and
zoning Department; the UO&FCD; and Howard, Needles, Tammen, and
Bergendoff (the study contractor).

.

Subsequent meetings and calls to the Douglas County Planning Di-
rector provided pertinent zoning and current development informa-
tion.

For this revised study, a meeting was held on April 10, 1984, to
determine priority study reaches. The meeting was attended by
representatives of FEMA, CWCB, UOFCD, Douglas County Planning and
Zoning Department, SCS, and J.F. Sato and Associates, Inc. (the
study contractor). The study area was modified subsequently at
the direction of FEMA in late April 1985 to include additional
reaches to be studied by approximate methods. The final scope of
study was reviewed with Douglas County Planning and Zoning Depart-
ment staff at a meeting on September 17, 1984.

An intermediate community coordination meeting was held on
July 29, 1985, to discuss the results of the revised study.
Representatives of FEMA, CWCB, UOFCD, Douglas County Planning and
zoning Department, the Town of Castle Rock, and the study
contractor were present.

On December 8, 1986, the results of the revised study were
discussed at the final community coordination meeting, which was
attended by representatives of FEMA, the study contractor, and the
community. All significant problems raised at that meeting have
been addressed in this study.

2.0 AREA STUDIED

2.1 Scope of Study

This Flood Insurance Study
Douglas County.
