<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 316-91 <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Section 37-60-106(1)(c). Colorado Revised <br />Statutes. directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board. to <br />designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative <br />bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the information in said new report relating to the <br />study reaches for the San Miguel River at Placerville. the San <br />Miguel River near Telluride. the San Miguel River near <br />Telluride-Secondary Channel. Leopard Creek. and Fall Creek <br />meets all of the requirements for detailed floodplain <br />information listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for <br />the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or <br />Floodwater Runoff Channels in colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the information ~n said new reports relating to <br />the above-mentioned approximate study reaches meets all of the <br />requirements for approximate floodplain information listed <br />under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation <br />and Approval of Floodplains arld of Storm or F'loodwater Runoff <br />Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); <br /> <br />NOW. 'l'HEREFORE. BE 11' RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board in regula~ meeting assembled in Denver. <br />Colorado. this 21st day of M;.Irch. 1991. that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detcliled floodplain information the <br />100-year floodplains as described by the floodwater surface <br />elevations and profiles in said new report. dated September 30. <br />1988. for the study reaches of the San Miguel River at <br />Placerville. the San Miguel River near Telluride. the San <br />Migue 1 River near Te lluride-S~condary Channe 1. Leopard Creek. <br />and Fall Creek. and that it does hereby designate and approve <br />as approximate floodplain information the 100-year floodplains <br />as described by the floodplain delineations in said new report. <br />dated September 30. 1988. for the above-mentioned approximate <br />study reaches and does het:eby rescind all portions of <br />Resolution No. 118. dated Nove~ber 1. 1978. as presented in the <br />March. 1978. report. except for Cornet Creek; and <br /> <br />BE 11' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Board of County Commissioners of San Miguel County; the Town of <br />Norwood. Colorado; the Town of Ophir. Colorado; the Town of <br />Sawpit. Colorado; the Town of Telluride. Colorado; the Colorado <br />Di vis ion of Disas ter Emergency Services; and the Federa 1 <br />Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
