Designation <br /> <br />This letter is a preliminary request for the Water Board to <br />consider designating the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan River <br />(as identified in its I recent study) as a flood plain at the <br />meeting in May; please placethis request on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Eagle County wishes to protect lives and property from flood <br />hazards and to comply with procedural requirements of State <br />Statutes as soon as possible.
