The river's flood channel is narrow and relatively deep compared to the Rural river. . Except during periods of very low flow, there are hardly any exposed bars. . There is much less riparian vegetation. . The river is bounded by very high-valued lands. . Human works are everywhere. Engineered River . The river has been realigned, straightened, and made prismatic. . The entire river banks are protected with riprap. . The bed is nearly flat with only a few low bars, . The width is mostly unifonn, . Slowly, pioneer vegetation is appearing on the few bars and in the bank riprap. Oassified River.
