<br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1) (c), Colorado' Revised <br />Statutes, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to <br />designate and approve storm or floodwater. runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative <br />bodies of local Jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby, recommend to the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board that the Board designate, and approve <br />as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood <br />(intermedia te regional flood) as described by the floodwater <br />surface eievations and profiles in said new report, and further <br />recommends that the floodplain designation for South Boulder' <br />Creek as approved by Resolution No. 33, adopted June 21, 1974, <br />be rescinded; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board ,in regular meeting assembled in, Denver, <br />Colorado, this 18th day of November, 1986, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described <br />as being inundated, by a, IOO-year flood as described by the <br />floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, <br />dated July, 1986, and does hereby ,rescind that said portion, of <br />Resolution No. 33, dated June 21, 1974; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send, a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />County Commissioners of Boulder County, the City of Boulder, <br />and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />g ~ R T I ~ I g ~ T ~ <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of <br />a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled <br />at Denver, Colorado, on the.. 18th day of November, 1986, at <br />which a quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />I&zdd <br /> <br />Secretary <br /> <br />-2- <br />
