Alternative C was the best overall plan for drain- <br />age improvements on Niver Creek os agreed upon <br />by all concerned parties. <br /> <br />2. Each structure crossing the Niver Creek drainoge- <br />way shall be evaluated as to accommodate the <br />lOO-year flows without damage. This will be <br />accomplished by one of the fallowing methods: <br /> <br />a. Structure opening shall be designed <br />to pass the lO-year flows with struc- <br />tural protection for the lOO-year flows. <br /> <br />b. Structure opening shall be designed to <br />pass the IOo-year flows. <br /> <br />The least cost approach from "a" and "b" above <br />will be selected and included in the preliminary <br />design. <br /> <br />3. The drainageway shall be designed to carry the <br />l00-year flows. <br /> <br />4. The 88th Avenue crossing shall detain the 100- <br />year flows. Eva luations sha II be conducted to <br />provide reasonable protection for flows greater <br />than the lOO-year flows. <br /> <br />After receipt of the notice to proceed with Phase B, the following plan <br /> <br />of approach was formulated for completing the Phose B work: <br /> <br />11-1 <br />
