Approve funds, when within available <br />resources, for emergency restoration of <br />damaged water and sewer systems. <br /> <br />3. Advise on economic redevelopment of dis- <br />aster impacted areas. <br /> <br />4. Advise on Interstate disaster agreements In <br />which Colorado may become Involved. <br /> <br />5. Promote disaster prevention and mitigation <br />through land use policy, other departmental <br />programs and the A-95 process In coor- <br />dination with DODES. <br /> <br />6. Provide general purpose topographical <br />maps and aerial photographs to state agen- <br />cies as required for conducting disaster <br />emergency activities, <br /> <br />7, Verify potential disaster-related fiscal claims <br />and problems areas, Take action as ap- <br />propriate, <br /> <br />8. Validate and aggregate damage assess- <br />ment data on societal Impacts to Include <br />specific impacts on following groups of <br />people - senior citizens, veterans, physically <br />challenged refugees and youth, and In- <br />dividual disaster victims, Provide a sum- <br />mary of condition to DODES (SEOC, when <br />activated), <br /> <br />9, Maintain state demographic data. <br /> <br />I SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES I <br /> <br />1, State Emergency Management Systems <br /> <br />a. Provide financial trend analysis of the <br />cost-sharing capabilities of disaster Im- <br /> <br />pacted local govemments as requested <br />by DODES, <br /> <br />b. Assist the Department of Health in the <br />condemnation process for damaged <br />residential structures. <br /> <br />c, Coordinate and manage disaster tem- <br />porary housing programs Implemented <br />in Colorado. <br /> <br />d. Represent the interests of locai govern- <br />ment in Colorado, In the state emergen- <br />cy management decision-making <br />process. <br /> <br />2. State Contingency Response Procedures <br />Provide for the tasks and responsibilities as- <br />signed to the Department In Part III, "State <br />Contingency Response Procedures," as <br />prescribed under each separate contingen- <br />cy plan, <br /> <br />3. National Emergency Response Procedures <br />Be prepared to conduct operations on <br />order of the Governor, to accomplish the <br />responsibilities listed below: <br /> <br />a, Analyze disaster or potential disaster <br />conditions, statewide needs, national <br />requirements.
