Hyde <br />Senior Water Resource Specialist <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 823 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />Dear Brian: <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Green Mountain Falls feels <br />that a floodplain designation needs to be made on Crystal Creek <br />and Catamount Creek in Green Mountain Falls. Both creeks are <br />fed by reservoirs operated by the City of Colorado Springs, and <br />both feed into Fountain Creek. <br /> <br />We request your assistance in developing a floodplain map for <br />these areas, and in presenting your determinations to the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />We also ask that FEMA make these amendments to the official <br />floodplain map for the Town of Green Mountain Falls. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />~u0 <br /> <br />Chrls Frandi a <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />tw <br />
