<br />. <br /> <br />Digital Line Graph Level 3 (DLG-3)-Data files that are fully topologically structured and <br />are designed to be integrated into Geographic Information Systems, <br /> <br />Digital Orthophoto Quadrangle (DOQ)-Photographic maps distributed by the U.S, <br />Geological Survey. A DOQ is an aerial photograph that is adjusted to remove distortions <br />caused by variations in terrain and the camera lens to produce a photograph that displays <br />features in their planimetrically correct location. This term is sometimes used loosely to mean <br />any photographic map produced by this process. <br /> <br />Digital Terrain Model (DTM)-A land surface represented in digital form by an elevation <br />grid or lists of three-dimensional coordinates. <br /> <br />Digitizing-A process of converting an analog image or map into a digital format usable by a <br />computer. <br /> <br />Drawing Exchange File (DXF)-A commonly used format for the exchange of graphic data. <br /> <br />Edge Matching-The comparison and graphic adjustment of features to obtain agreement <br />along the edges of adjoining map sheets. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Effective Date-The date on which the National Flood Insurance Program Map for a <br />community becomes effective and all sanctions of the National Flood Insurance Program <br />apply, <br /> <br />Effective Map-The National Flood Insurance Program map issued by FEMA that is in <br />effect as of the date shown in the title block of the map as "Effective Date," "Revised," or <br />"Map Revised." <br /> <br />Elevation Reference Mark (ERM) - TempoflU)' vertical control momunent established by a <br />FEMA Study Contractor during the performance of a study or restudy. <br /> <br />Elevation Reference Point (ERP)-A temporary mark, the elevation of which is determined <br />by levels or Differential Global Positioning System positioning from a bench mark or elevation <br />reference mark.
