<br />. <br /> <br />Compliance Period-The period that begins with the issuance of a Letter of Final <br />Determination and ends when a new or revised Flood Insurance Rate Map becomes effective. <br />During the compliance period, a community must enact and adopt new or revised floodplain <br />management ordinances required for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program. <br /> <br />Computer-Assisted Drafting and Design (CADD)-Software with the capability of <br />assisting the operator with the performance of standard engineering and architecture design <br />functions. <br /> <br />Conditional Letter of Map Amendment (CLOMA)-The FEMA response to a requester <br />who believes his or her proposed structure, when constructed on natural ground at or above <br />the BFE, will be outside the I-percent-annual-chance floodplain. CLOMAs may not be issued <br />for unimproved or undeveloped property. <br /> <br />Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR)-The FEMA response to a community <br />request for FEMA's comment on proposed alterations to the floodplain conditions within that <br />community. The CLOMR describes the effect of the proposed project, if constructed as <br />proposed, on the effective FIRM, FBFM, and/or FIS report. A CLOMR often contains <br />detailed information on conditions that must be met by a requester before FEMA will issue a <br />final detennination regarding revising the FIRM, FBFM, and/or FIS report. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Conditional Letter of Map Revision Based on Fill (CLOMR-F}-The FEMA response to <br />a community request for FEMA's comment on the effect(s) that a proposed project involving <br />the placement of earthen fill within the SFHA will have on the Special Flood Hazard Area <br />designation for one or more legally defined parcels of land or one or more proposed <br />structures. <br /> <br />Consultation Coordination Officer (CCO)-The individual on the FEMA Regional Office <br />staff who is responsible for coordinating with a community on activities related to National <br />Flood Insurance Program. <br /> <br />Contracting OtTtcer (CO)-The FEMA Headquarters staff person that is responsible for the <br />administration offunding and funding-related activities for a specific contract or agreement. <br /> <br />Control Point-Any station in a horizontal or vertical control network that is identified in a <br />dataset of photograph and used for correlating the data shown in the data set or photograph. <br /> <br />Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Initiative-An innovative FEMA program to <br />create partnerships between FEMA and participating National Flood Insurance Program <br />communities, regional agencies, and State agencies that have the interest and capability to <br />become more active participants in the FEMA Flood Hazard Mapping Program. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinate Geometry (COGO)-The use of bearings and distances, azimuths, and <br />coordinate locations to enter and describe graphic data.
