<br />I. Meet with City officials and other public officials to obtain background information. <br /> <br />2. Collect available data and information required to perform the feasibility study. <br /> <br />3. Conduct field visits to perform physical site inspections, ground surveys, and to take <br />photographs of the area. <br /> <br />4. Perform engineering analyses which include hydrologic and hydraulic investigations <br /> <br />5. Study alternative solutions to the problem. <br /> <br />6. Prepare preliminary design drawings (plan sheet and typical cross-sections) and <br />construction cost estimates for the alternative mitigation plans. <br /> <br />7. Prepare a reconnaissance-level feasibility report that documents the results of the <br />study and provides a narrative of the alternative mitigation plans. <br /> <br />III. PREVIOUS FLOOD STUDIES <br /> <br />The list below summarizes in chronological order the previous studies, relevant to this <br />project, that were completed for the City of Walsenburg. The CWCB would like to thank <br />the EPICS project team from the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) for their effort in <br />preparing a drainage evaluation for the City of Walsenburg.
