Coincidence of

or Shoreline
with Zone Break

This parameter code indicates the coincidence
of the stream, channel or shoreline with a
Z<lne break (wh:c'\ is shown in the Flood
Hazard Zones DLG). '!'he linear shoreline
feai:ure must be (ligi'~ized from south to north
on che east coas' of the United States and
from north to so lth em the west coast when in
coincidence with the zone break. This is the
only feature for whic:h directionality is
important. It is shown as a combination of
FrS symbols L2l5 and L203. wi th the symbol
for the zone break al.ways shown on the
landward side of the shoreline.

If parameter attribute codes for cross section alpha characters
or ERM identifiers require more than 4 digits to represent the
data shown on the map, the parameter cede will be repeated i.n
order to hold the additional digits. Thus, ERM number 101-12
would be represented by the following parameter codes: 435
0101, 435 0012, shown in the order the numbers occur on the map.

An Elevation Reference Mark number 12 with an elevation value of
329.20 feet referenced to NGVD 29 would be expressed by the
following codes: 430 0350, 435 0012, 431 0329, 434 0020.
430 0610, 430 0620. The codes must be arranged in this order
(see Figures 4 and 5).
