<br />e <br /> <br />FPR 94-358 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER cONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />May 26, 1994 <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., under contract to the U. S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, <br />Town of Pagosa Springs and Unincorporated AreaS of Archuleta County, Colorado" dated July 1978; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes floodplain information for the San Juan River, McCabe Creek, <br />and North McCabe Creek both in the corporate limits ofPagosa Springs and outside the corporate limits <br />in unincorporated Archuleta County as well liS floodplain information for other streams in <br />unincorporated Archuleta County; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Archuleta County, by <br />Resolution No. 120, adopted on November 1, 1978, approved and designated the floodplains described <br />in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, under contract to the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency, revised the floodplain information contained within Resolution No. <br />120 for the stream reaches within the corporate limits of Pagosa Springs only and completed a <br />floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town of Pagosa Springs and <br />Unincorporated Areas of Archuleta County, Colorado" dated May 2, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Town of Pagosa <br />Springs, Resolution No. 92-324, adopted on July 8, 1992, approved and designated the floodplains <br />described in said revised report for the stream reach listed in Table 1, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 92-324 rescinded the detailed floodplain information in Resolution No. <br />120 for the stream reach listed in Table 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the floodplain information in silid revised Flood Insurance study dated May 2, 1991 <br />for the stream reach listed in Table 2, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, revises, <br />on the basis of a new hydraulic analysis, the floodplain information contained in Resolution No. 120 <br />for the stream reach listed in Table 2 below; and <br /> <br />e <br />
