Sheet 3 of 3

TABLE 3
(;t<l:iP CAPACITY SALES

MW
Year SUIl1rer Winter
1978 - 79 1 0
1980 13 0
1981 26 3
1982 8 3
1983 22 0.1
1984 37 0.1
1985 70 1
1986 85 2
1987 106 4
1988 - 2052 113 4

..1J The capacity sales shown on the table are based on
forecasts of the capacity available under lower quartile
water conditions.

In actual practice, the peaking capacity sales for the
1980-89 period are expected to be no less than 108 MW
in the sUll1rer and 277. MW in the winter.

.

The winter peaking capacity sales for the aforementioned
period shown on the table are essentially 277 MW in the
winter and the sUll1rer peaking capacity sales are higher
then 108 MW, except in fiscal years 1987 and 1988. Changing
the study data to show minimum peaking capacity sales of
108 MW in the sUll1rer and 277 MW in the winter, together
with purchases of the deficits, would have a negligible
effect on the study results.

25
