<br />than 10 kt (5 m S-l). The L.1. was -1, hut
<br />the height of the Level of Free Convection
<br />(LFC) found at 530 mb indicated consider-
<br />able lifting and/or heating would be needed
<br />to initiate deep convection. The high mois-
<br />ture content was the most unusual feature
<br />of the sounding. Precipitable water con-
<br />tents of 0.67 in (1.71 em) in the lowest 150
<br />mb layer and 1.00 in (2.54 em) in the layer
