The primary concern of such development is the impact upon water
resources since individual wells and septic tanks would be used. To this primary
concern, are added a number of other concerns which should also be addressed.

To facilitate the assessment process, a series of questions have been outlined
under Section A entitled "Environmental Review Report 'Format." Such were obtained
from a Department of Housing and Urban Development publication entitled "Environ-
ment Reviews at the Community Level." (October, 1975) The Environmental Review Re-
POl't Format is intended to supplement present 20n'ing and subdivision reviewproc'e-
dures prior to issuance of a bui lding pennit, It is intended that the sponsor of
the proposed action respond to each series of questions in sufficient detail to
include documentation so as to allow identification of specific impacts. Upon re-
view by Lake County authorities, a decision regarding the issuance of a building
ne rmi t CiHl be made.

The Environmental Review Report (ERR) should be submitted along with the applica-
t i on for a bui 1 di ng permi t, It is recommended tha t the ERR be made a part of the
requirements of Section 9 of the Lake County Zoning Resolution.

14

,
