The County was <br />receptive 1:0 the Board's proposed designation action and "ttended a meeting with the CWCB and <br />Montgomery Watson in Durango on September 19" 2000, The County provided information on <br />deliciencks in the effective FrS, areas of growth, a prioritization for future floodplain study work <br />and general floodplain management needs, It was confirmed that major flooding has not <br />occurred in the county since the early 1970's. <br /> <br />4 <br />
