The report includes the area on the Roaring Fork River from its <br />confluence with Snowmass Creek downstream to the Eagle/Garfield County Line. <br />Included in the revision is a zero-rise floodway throughout the study and the designation <br />of both a floodplain and floodway in the area south of State Highway 82, on sheet 5, <br />known as "Southside". <br /> <br />The CWCB reviewed the Floodplain Information Report and designated the floodplain at <br />their Board meeting on 24 and 25 July 2000. The floodplain mapping replaced the June <br />1987 mapping designated by both FEMA and CWCB. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 37-60-106(1)(c) C.R.S., as amended, the Town of Basalt <br />requests that the CWCB consider the designation of the floodplain in all areas contained <br />within the Basalt Town Limits, as revised in the entitled "Floodplain Information Report. <br />Roaring Fork River, Town of Basalt, Eagle and Pitkin Counties, Colorado, dated July 24, <br />2000, and revised in October, 2001.
