The average annual benefits creditable to the <br />Las Animas Protection Project include the flood damages prevented and <br />enhancement benefits. The flood damages prevented amountto $125,900 <br />including $56,730 or 45 percent for future growth. During project <br />document studies, it was determined that land enhancement benefits <br />would amount to $3,900. There have been no changes in the flood plain, <br />that would justify revision of the enhancement benefits. Therefore, <br />the total average annual benefits amount to $129,800. <br /> <br />16-06. Annual charges. benefits and benefit-cost-ratio. The average <br />annual charges, based on 3-1/4 percent interest and a 100-year period <br />of analysis, amount to $80,400 as summarized in table 12.
