He can be contacted for further information at (303) 866- <br />3441. <br /> <br />· Provide information on regulatory issues. <br />~ CWCB is required to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom <br />~ Legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on <br />or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and <br />approval of the study by the CWCB. <br />llII CWCB has been directed to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channel or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions. <br /> <br />· Solicit community input on the floodplain study to be reviewed including any known <br />floodplain mapping inaccuracies or other technical problems with the study. <br />Ii Has there been significant development within the community since the floodplain maps <br />were issued? <br />~ Have other structures been constructed since the floodplain maps were issued? <br />~ Have flood protection measures been implemented since the floodplain maps were issued <br />(dikes, reservoirs, operational policies)? <br /> <br />· Collect flood history and other information that would be helpful or pertinent to evaluating <br />the communities floodplain information. <br />~ Have there been any significant historical floods?
