<br />Table 3, "Flood Insurance Zone Data", summarizes the flood <br />elevation differences, Flood Hazard Factors, flood insurance <br />zones and base flood elevatio~s for each flooding source in <br />the community. <br /> <br />5.4 Flood Insurance Rate Map Description <br /> <br />The Flood Insurance Rate Map for Empire is, for insurance <br />purposes, the net result of the Flood Insurance Study. Pub- <br />lished separately, as part of this study, is the official map <br />on which the Federal Insurance Administration has delineated <br />the flood insurance zones and base flood elevation I ines. Base <br />flood e I evat i on lines show .the expected who Ie-foot water-s ur,face <br />elevations and their locations of the base (IOO-year) flood. <br />These ma~s were developed in accordance with the latest flood <br />insurance map preparation guidel ines published by FlA. <br /> <br />6.0 OTHER STUDIES <br /> <br />No other studies, other than those discussed <br />avai lable concerning flood hazard in Empire. <br />or results were encountered. <br /> <br />in Section 3.
