<br />RESOLUTION NO, 2-87
<br />
<br />We, the Town Board of Crestone, resolve that a state of disaster
<br />exists for this emergency ueclaration from the August 22, 1987,
<br />flood event,
<br />
<br />Whereas, the Town Boaru of Crestone met in Crestone, Colorado on
<br />September 9, 1987 in regular session, at which time a quorum was
<br />present; and
<br />

<br />Whereas, the Tmoffi Board is responsible for the health and safety
<br />of the citizens of the TOloffi of Crestone; and
<br />
<br />Whereas, the connnunity sustained substantial flood damages to
<br />TO\offi roads and streets, alleys, and private properties; and
<br />
<br />Whereas, the Town does not have the funds and resources to re-
<br />construct the Town and cemetary;
<br />
<br />NOI; therefore, be it resolved by the Town Board, that a state of
<br />emergency exists due to the economic hardship which now exists to
<br />the connnunity for recovery from the August 22, 1987 flood event,
<br />
<br />Be it furth~ resolved that the TOhTI of Crestone does hereby
<br />request financial assistance in the amount of $24,075.00,
<br />
