COMMAND FILE OPTIONS

The command file is prepared by the user using a text
editor such as COED. Each record (line) in the command file is
divided into fields of 10 columns each. Field 1 normally con-
tains the command, while the input data are contained in remain-
ing fields or on subsequent records. An asterisk (*) by the
command name denotes commands which may be placed at the begin-
ning of the HECWRC output file to invoke or suppress various
program options.

COMMAND

DESCRIPTION

BACKCOLOR * Changes Background Screen Color on EGA Device.
Color is specified in field 2 (left justified).
Valid colors are White, Black, Red, Green, Blue
Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Default is White.
NOTE: If the background color is changed, pen
colors may also have to be changed. See the
PEN Command.

BOT * Resets the location of the bottom x-axis of
graph. Field 2 contains the location in percent
of distance between the bottom and top borders.
Default is 10 percent.

CHARTYPE * Resets default characters for plotting observed
data points. Field 2 (Columns 11 and 12) contain
the new character types. Default values are '0'
and '*'. Note: The third character type is an
overlay of types I and 2. To plot more than
three character types on the same graph, use the
GOPLOT command.

COMPUTED Input data for computed frequency curve. Field 2
contains the number of points to be input on the
curve. Subsequent records contain the following
data: Field 1 = Probability, Field 2 = Computed
Discharge, Field 3 = Expected Probability, Field
4 = Lower Confidence Limit, 5 = Upper Confidence
Limit. Not all Fields are required to contain
data.

CONFIDENCE Plots confidence limits. The COMPUTED command
and subsequent records are required to input the
data to be plotted.
