Workshop goals

Exchange experiences about disasters threatening water utilities, report best practices for
design and operations to mitigate disaster impacts, and provide industry information
source on disaster mitigation. Participation will be 30-40 persons from varied water
supply groups (different locations, types of disaster potential, and functional focus, such
as design, response, mitigation, finance, and public involvement).
