<br />ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES <br />Flood Control District <br /> <br />'RECEIVED <br />H.B 1'7197-6 <br />~il-\\It.rot <br />,~~W'l~. <br /> <br />1. The Building Inspector shall review all building per- <br /> <br />mit applications to determine if the prop?sed structures, includ- <br />ing any accessory buildings shall lie within a flood hazard dis- <br /> <br />trict. The Building Inspector may utilize services of any other <br /> <br />county staff or county consultants to make such preliminary de- <br />termination. If required)to effect such preliminary determina- <br />tion, applicant may be required to furnish a survey of the tract <br /> <br />in question, including the location of any proposed buildings. <br /> <br />2. The Building Inspector, if he determines that the pro- <br /> <br />posed structure may lie within a~lood hazard district, shall <br /> <br />require the applicant to furnish a cross-sectiorlor sections, as <br /> <br />appropriate through the subject property, together with a map <br /> <br />showing proposed building use, location and elevation in relation <br />"to the intermediate regional flood, such information to be refer- <br /> <br />enced to the nearest flood elevation bench marks, as shown on <br /> <br />the flood hazard zone district map. Such information shall be <br /> <br />furnished at the expense of the applicant. <br /> <br />3. Before the issuance of a building permit in the flood <br /> <br />hazard district, there shall be furnished plans and specifications <br /> <br />for flood-proofing, proposed buildings or structures in conformance <br /> <br />with the provisions of the flood control district regulation. Where <br /> <br />applicable, Flood-proofing Regulation Manual, U. S. Corps of Engin- <br /> <br />eers, June 1972, will be used as a guide. <br /> <br />4, A building permit shall only issue after all of the <br /> <br />foregoing requirements have been met and the proposed flood-proofing <br /> <br />and other requirements of the flood hazard district have been com- <br /> <br />plied with in all respects. <br /> <br />5.
