Dear Mr. Sparks:

Frasier & Gingery. Inc. completed a master plan entitled, -
"Major Drainageway Planning - Sanderson Gulch/Weir Gulch" for the
Urban Drainage & Flood Control District. Denver. and lakewood in
1972. Because this was one of the first master plans completed
for the District, it unfortunately did not contain the lOO-year
water surface profile for existing channel conditions. '

Subsequently, Frasier & Gingery. Inc. provided a supp~ementary
report defining the lOO-year flood plain in plan and profile for
Weir Gulch and Sanderson Gulch in lakewood. This supplementary report
was approved by your Board in December. 1974.

Just recently. Frasier & Gingery. Inc. has completed an
additional supplementary report which defines the lOO-year flood plain
in plan and profile for Weir Gulch and Sanderson Gulch in Denver.
A copy of the supplelOOntary report 15 enclosed.

We request that the Colorado Water Conservation Board consider
the 100-year flood plain for existing conditions described in the
supplementary report for designation as a flood hazard area. The City
and County of Denver will be responsible for iJJlllementing flood plain
regulations for these flood plains.
