WHEREAS, a floodplain infOrmation report entitled "Major
Drainageway Planning, Upper Slallghterhouse Gulch," diiited March,
1983, has b~en prepared by Water Resources Consultants, Inc., at
the reguest of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, the
City of Littleton, and Arapahoe County; and

WHEREAS, said report descri,bes and outlines the floodplain
data and in~ormation for the sto~ and floodwater runoff channels
or basins o~ the study area; and

WHEREAS,

along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after
designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation
Board; and

WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes
1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate
and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to
make such designations availablEl to legislative bodies of local
jurisdictions; and
